I went to the beach the other day and like always, I seem to attract celebrities to my whereabouts. It didn’t take long for me to notice in the distance the beautiful Caroline D’Amore skateboarding towards my direction. Like always, I am always prepared and I whipped out my camera to take a few shots. She was wearing a gorgeous two piece bikini which I eventually found on her online clothing store, D’Amore Swim (http://www.damoreswim.com). She smiled as I photographed her and she carried on towards the pier.

The best photo shoots that I have are when unexpected things happen. Caroline D’Amore and myself called each other to say hello today. We both talked about the great California warm weather and because of the beautiful day, we decided to head to the beach for a shoot to feature her amazing bikini line from D’Amore Swim (http://www.damoreswim.com). As we looked for a proper location to shoot, we stumbled upon Elmo. After that, the story wrote itself.

Caroline D'Amore models a Two Piece Bikini for Henry Flores
I received a call from Caroline D’Amore and she was exited on the phone. She told me that her online store at D’Amore Swim, was finally opened and she wanted to celebrate and do a little promotion at the same time. To celebrate her achievement, we decided to meet in Santa Monica, California for a bikini shoot. When we got there, we started to look around for the perfect location and we quickly found it. Caroline D’Amore Models Her Swim Wear for Photographer Henry Flores, Part I

I was checking out my twitter account @henryflores and I noticed that Caroline D’Amore just tweeted that she was going to do a photo shoot for her clothing line. The funny thing was that I was close to the beach in Santa Monica as I was running an errand there, so I headed to the beach as I have always had luck there. To my surprise and my luck, I noticed this good looking girl, who looked like Caroline D’Amore, in the distance getting photographed. I pulled out my long lens and took one picture. I looked at the my camera and zoomed into my picture, only to realize that I hit the jackpot.
Caroline was modeling her Vintage wave print bandana bikini when I started to take pictures. Everything was perfect. The marry-go round and the pier roller coaster were in the background, the sun was at the right position and reflection of the wet sand, made for beautiful pictures. I couldn’t stop taking pictures.
I eventually went to talk to Caroline D’Amore, as I have seen her a few times before. She was really cool with me and told me that she was launching her online store on Wednesday of this week. Her online store is D’Amore Swim (http://www.damoreswim.com). Her photographer was ready changing the memory card and she carried on modeling. I carried on taking pictures.

Caroline D’Amore Models Her Swim Wear for Photographer Henry Flores, Part II

Caroline D’Amore and the photographer went back to their car and I thought that was the end of the shoot. I sat back on the beach and waited for a bit and then realized that it wasn’t over. She was changing into another outfit. She came out of the car wearing a gorgeous vintage ocean teal bandanna bikini. I got a little close and realized that they were getting a bike from the bike rack on their car. I was feeling a bit excited as I was going to get another opportunity for a few more photos.
She got on the bike and started to cruise. Everything was once again perfect. You cannot beat taking pictures of a good looking girl, who is wearing a bikini, riding a bike on a gorgeous sunny California day. She did that for a few minutes and eventually got off the bike. She was going to then model the bikini standing up. I repositioned myself for a better angle. She walked straight to me. Well, she walked straight to her photographer, but I couldn’t help but visualize that she was walking straight to me as that is the way I was seeing it through my lens. After a short time, it was done. She was packing to go home and I thanked them for the shots. Caroline D’Amore Performs her Singles at Cherry Pop

After supporting the Traffic 2010 Dance Organization at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood, I headed to West Hollywood. I was going to go support my other friend Caroline D’Amore (http://www.carolinedamore.net) as she was going to perform her singles from ‘Sticks and Stones’. It was raining heavy and I found parking two blocks away, thank goodness for that umbrella. I arrived at the club and I checked in with the security check point. They gave me an orange wrist band and that was enough to get me all the way into the dressing room where the girls were going to change.
I found her touching up her makeup and her dancers warming up with stretches. I wasted no time and I got my camera out for a few shots. Caroline was wearing this metallic type bikini, which was custom designed to highlight her gorgeous body. Soon, it was five minutes to curtain call and the girls went over their moves one last time.
It was time for Caroline to perform and she and the dancers leave the dressing room escorted by security, who made a path through the heavy packed filled crowd until she arrived safely onto the stage. Her performance was, once again, brilliant.

Caroline D’Amore and The Street Drum Corps at The Roxy Once Again, Photos by Henry Flores

Caroline D’Amore (http://www.carolinedamore.net) invited me one more time to the Roxy Night Club and to tell you the truth, I kinda like going there. Besides the performance, I like the atmosphere there.
Caroline D’Amore was looking great. She was wearing a gorgeous dress, custom made to fit and it looked perfect on her. Caroline was going to perform with her boyfriend’s band, the Street Drum Corps, who were the headliners for the Roxy.
During her performance, Caroline D’Amore and her boyfriend Bobby Alt, who is the singer and drummer of Street Drum Corps (http://www.streetdrumcorps.com) got a little sensual on stage.

Caroline D’Amore pre-show at the Roxy – Photography and Video by Henry Flores

I caught up with Caroline D’Amore pre-show at the very famous Roxy Night Club as she prepared to present all her music live. It all started as I arrived at the Roxy. I got there a bit early cause I didn’t want any trouble at the door. I was actually there before the security and door people got there, just as the band was finishing the final touches on stage. I went inside and then upstairs and I started to look for any sign of life. It wasn’t until I walked into one of the dressing rooms that I noticed my friend and my photographic subject, Caroline D’Amore (http://www.carolinedamore.net). She was running around getting all the final preparations done with make up, hair, and everything else that goes on before the performance. Her performance was incredible. It was choreographed by Brittany Hughes. After her show, I captured Caroline D’Amore hanging out and kissing with her boyfriend Bobby Alt, who is the singer and drummer of Street Drum Corps. I quickly took the opportunity to have them pose for a few artistic photos of the couple on the red and blue running lights along the upstairs hallway. I told them to get into a position and then not to move. I was going to be shooting at 1/8th of a second, even my heartbeat, could make my shots blurry. Somehow, I was able to pull it off.
