Henry Flores Visits City Hall

I remember back in the days, 2008 to be precise, the Anti-Paparazzi movement was happening. Everyone wanted to pass laws against these awful people called paparazzi. Eric Roberts was on the stand saying that he was surrounded by paparazzi every time he left his house. Yeah right! I don’t think that anyone can sell a picture of Eric Roberts even without a shirt off. Well, I guess he probably forgot to mention that every time he was surrounded by paparazzi, he was with his sister Julia Roberts. And what’s his name… Milo Ventimiglia, I had to look up his name, said that he was also followed consistently by paparazzi. He also forgot to mention that he was with Hayden Panettiere at his side. Well, to make a long story short. Nothing ever happened! My business partner, Brad Elterman and myself were the only agency that showed up to see what was going to happen. Nothing did! The paparazzi eventually started going away as prices for their pictures kept falling with the rise of the internet. Soon, after all the paparazzi are gone. I will probably go out to take pictures again. By then, there is going to be so much demand for these photos that I could make a killing on my prices. 
Till the day happens… For now, enjoy my staged celebrity photos and my personal photos.

Some people ask me if I ever get star-struck by meeting and sometimes hanging out with the rich and famous, and my answer is no. I do wish I had their money though. I could do so much more with it than they do. For example, most celebrities try to be green by driving a modern electric car, which has the same MPG as a Geo Metro from the 80′s. I would invest in creating my own car company that has no influence with the oil companies. Wait, someone already did. If I was a celebrity, I would at least be driving a Tesla Motors Car. Their slogan, “Tesla technology offers the most efficient path to a sustainable energy future. No hybrids. No hydrogen. No hype.” So, I would invest in making that technology more affordable. I would do so much more and that is just one example. I want my son’s future to look favorable for once.

There are very few people that I am allowing to see my baby for the first month so that we can get him to grow in weight and in strength. The ones that do get to see him are hand selected from family and select friends. Brad Elterman is one of the lucky few and as you can see from Brad’s expression, it was worth it.

Henry Flores Photographed By Legendary Photographer Brad Elterman

Just the other day before our servers crashed, Brad Elterman and myself had a meeting with De Standaard reporter Kobe Verheyen. We were just hanging out at the beach in Santa Monica, California. We had a nice lunch at Back on the Beach Restaurant. After that, Brad and myself went for a walk to burn some calories. Soon on our walk, we started to experiment with our cameras. He took some photos of me. What do you think? In a day or so, I will be posting some photos that I took of Brad Elterman.

We talked about our industry, about the value of celebrity photographs, and we compared the past and present. The industry has changed quite a bit since then. I miss the good ole days.

Like It Was Yesterday by Brad Elterman

Helping Brad Elterman unpack his long awaited book, “Like it was Yesterday” as it arrived at his warehouse. It was an exciting time to see the monstrous truck arrive. Then I followed the packages as they were unloaded one by one and placed into the warehouse. According to Brad, “This has been the culmination of an almost three year project. Amazon has the book and it is also available from LEADAPRON Los Angeles. Only 500 copies were printed. All signed and numbered. ” Go get one before it is too late.

Teenage Paparazzo HBO Release Party

I attended the Teenage Paparazzo HBO release party last night. I appeared in this documentary for about 2 seconds but it was long enough to be recognized by IMDB and Wikipedia as an expert in the field of paparazzi.
The party was just incredible, free food and free drinks, I am just bummed out that it didn’t go all night. There were so many celebrities there that I couldn’t stop starring. If I only had my pro-camera, I would have gotten some great shots, but obviously, it wasn’t the right time.

Caroline D’Amore Single Release Party

I had a blast at the Caroline D’Amore single release party at at Philippe Chow Restaurant. I went there with my lovely wife, not shown, my BuzzFoto business partner, Brad Elterman, and one of our best photographers, David Aguilera, not shown.
Caroline D’Amore looked amazing in a form fitting short dress. She was standing so tall with those heels on that she made me look shorter than I already am. Lucky for me, she was cool and made herself smaller by bending her knees.
