Cerveza Norte, the Argentina beer brand has won a Gold at the Clio Awards for Integrated advertising campaign, “Le Mejor Excusa Del Mundo” (The Best Excuse In the World). Men from the North of Argentina needed a good excuse to go to the bar to drink beer with their friends. They needed the best excuse ever. For each Norte beer a man drank at the bar, the brand allotted one minute of good deeds. A Norte team was in charge of the work. They put counters in the street with the accrued minutes, and the good deeds could be followed on the Internet.

I caught up with Caroline D’Amore pre-show at the very famous Roxy Night Club as she prepared to present all her music live. It all started as I arrived at the Roxy. I got there a bit early cause I didn’t want any trouble at the door. I was actually there before the security and door people got there, just as the band was finishing the final touches on stage. I went inside and then upstairs and I started to look for any sign of life. It wasn’t until I walked into one of the dressing rooms that I noticed my friend and my photographic subject, Caroline D’Amore (http://www.carolinedamore.net). She was running around getting all the final preparations done with make up, hair, and everything else that goes on before the performance. Her performance was incredible. It was choreographed by Brittany Hughes. After her show, I captured Caroline D’Amore hanging out and kissing with her boyfriend Bobby Alt, who is the singer and drummer of Street Drum Corps. I quickly took the opportunity to have them pose for a few artistic photos of the couple on the red and blue running lights along the upstairs hallway. I told them to get into a position and then not to move. I was going to be shooting at 1/8th of a second, even my heartbeat, could make my shots blurry. Somehow, I was able to pull it off.

June 14, 2007: Beverly Hills, CA: EXCLUSIVE: JOHN MAYER has lunch with a friend at Kings Road Cafe in West Hollywood, CA. As he was having lunch, John Mayer was approached by a few ladies that attempted to get his attention. John Mayer seemed uninterested in them and would continue his conversation with his friend as they left. John Mayer became extremely happy as he received a text that he threw up his hands in the air. John Mayer must have been hungry as he took big bites from his plate. Every once in a while he would also drink a little from his water bottle.
JOHN MAYER then goes to Gruen Watch Time to look at some jewelry in West Hollywood, CA. John Mayer came out with a piece of paper, perhaps he bought a watch. John Mayer wore rainbow colored shoes and shorts with a little red.
